Rachel Rhoads Trentham

I, too, am back at Houston teaching Senior English. I graduated December 2001 with a B.A. in English and December 2005 with a M.A.T. I married Brandon Trentham in January 2002. I'm living in Cordova currently without children. I hated to miss the reunion, but thankful for the Internet! The little girl in the pic is my niece, Hailey.

Lauren Wooten Rocconi

Hey everyone! I hate that I could not make it to the reunion. From the pictures, it looks like you had a great time!! After graduating from HHS, I went to Mississippi State and majored in Fitness Management. I later went to UT Memphis to get my Masters in Physical Therapy. I finished PT school 2 years ago and am currently working at Campbell Clinic in Collierville. I met my future husband, Joe Rocconi, just before starting PT school. We recently got married (March) so we are still enjoying being newlyweds. We have no children yet, of course, but we do have a little pug named Bruno. I have enjoyed reading everyone’s bios, and I hope to see you all at the 20 year reunion!!

Sarah (Hedrick) Bridges

Hello Mustangs..
After graduation I attended UK for a year and then transferred to Oklahoma State University(Go Cowboys!) I got my degree in Family Relations and Child Development in December 00. I then moved back to Lexington, KY where I worked as a counselor for 2 years. I now live in Tuscaloosa, AL where I work full time for Walgreens Pharmacy. I also enjoy volunteering in the pharmacy of a local free clinic as well as serving on the board of directors for the Humane Society of West Alabama. My husband is getting his Ph.D in Chemistry from The University of Alabama. I married Nick Bridges (Class of 97) in May 2002 and we do not have any children yet-however we have a houseful with 2 cats, 3 dogs and a horse. We would have loved to have been at the reunion but had a commitment that weekend!! Hope everyone is doing well!

Billy Myers

Hello not to sure what to say. Once we got out of school I waited tables for a while at El porton off of germantown rd. Then later that year i enrolled in a technical school for A&P mechanics, which is an aircraft mechanics school. Once i finished the classes, i really didn't see my self fixing airplanes the rest of my life. Now i find myself inlisting into the military as Infantry for a 6 yr stent from 1998 to 2004. During this time i visited Belguim for months, Kosovo for 8 months, and even Iraq for a year. I also visited numerous state side posts for various types of training. I started my military time as a low ranker but made my way up to being a team leader as an E-5 or SGT. Once i exited the military I took up a local security job there in memphis working for wackenhut. From 2005 to present I am working as a civilian contractor living in Kuwait, Im part of a security force that safe guards and protects all the military posts here in Kuwait.

Emily Main

After high school, I got a degree in English from a small liberal arts college in Missouri and then a master's in journalism from Ole Miss. Immediately after that, I moved to New York City to try my hand at magazine publishing (I beat Eli Manning to the city by mere months...). I freelanced as a copy editor/fact checker for two years until I finally landed a full-time job at an interior design magazine--about which time I realized that big-time magazines weren't exactly my cuppa tea. So when I was offered a job as an associate editor at a non-profit environmental newsletter/web site, I gladly left my very unsatisfying, bottom-of-the-totem-pole editorial- assistant job behind. I've been working at the newsletter for nearly a year now and couldn't have dreamed of a better job. I write and edit articles on all things recycled, organic and otherwise good for the earth--www.thegreenguide.com, if any of you are interested. Otherwise, I spend my hours playing violin in a volunteer orchestra in Greenwich Village, going to concerts on the non-creepy end (haha! I agree that there is a decidedly creepy side of this city, and not
just in music...) of the New York music scene and teaching myself how to play bluegrass fiddle (and any other kind of fiddle music I can get my hands on). Sorry to have missed the reunion. It looks like everyone had a great time. Peace!

Alex Thompson

I am currently living in Japan, flying F-16s for the Air Force.

Chris Tamboli

Wow we are getting old! I can't believe it has already been 10 years!! Time flies!!
After HHS, I went to UTK and studied Psychology but finished up at University of Memphis. I then worked as an Office Manager for a dental insurance company for 4 years. I then was offered a job at a company where I sell and import granite for major hotels and condos. Although this has NOTHING to do with Psych, I love my job! I had been with someone for 3 years, we recently broke up, but I had the house, the dogs the cats the whole nine yards. But it was not to be, so I am back on the prowl ;)
I hope this finds everyone well, and I hope to see you this weekend!!!

Steve Short

After graduating, I left for Nashville to attend Belmont University's Music Business program. Having gotten the music bug playing guitar in the Jazz Band the last semester at Houston, so why not do something with it as a career? I started out playing guitar for different people while in school, but by sophomore year, I'd started an internship at a recording studio and found out THAT'S what I want to do with music. I stuck it out and by the time graduation rolled around I had started engineering on albums (engineering is the technical side of recording- I'm the guy that deals with all the sounds and gear used in recording). I've had a good run of it- some of the more notable artists I have worked with are Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Darryl Worley, Brian Setzer (which is where the picture comes from), Lynyrd Skynyrd, Lionel Richie, Third Day, Caedmon's Call, DC Talk, Kenna, Allison Krauss, and more I can't think of right now. As for plans for the future, I no plans to leave music or Nashville anytime soon- I love my job and Nashville's my kind of pace (vs. the LA or NY music scene- both are a bit... creepy?) Anyhow- wasn't able to make the reunion, but it's been fun seeing what everyone else is up to and all. Best wishes to everybody!

Bryan Clark

After graduation I attended UT-Martin where I majored in Criminal Justice. During my time there I met my future wife Kim who is a Germantown Police Detective. After graduation from there and for the next five years I became a police officer for the Town of Collierville. I am currently a Corporate Fraud Investigator for Regions bank and living in Germantown, TN with my wife Kim and my twin girls Laney and Kyndal who are two and a half right now.

William Weaver

After graduating from Houston, I went to Vanderbilt and got a BA in English and Classics. For a year, I lived the fabled life of a graduate student in New York (the heavy caffeine use and library fines eventually caught up with me), and then moved to Fort Worth, where my fiancée, Katherine Rosenblatt of Jackson, MS, was living. We married and rented a room over a garage in Fort Worth for a year, and then moved to a smaller space in New York, where we’ve lived for about 4 years now. Kat teaches math at a girls school, and I’m studying for a PhD in English at Columbia. Looking forward to catching up this weekend…

Lee Jordan & Jessika (Harpell) Jordan

Whatz up my fellow classmates…This might shock you when you read this but since I graduated, I have been a major star in the porn industry setting world records. They kept calling me “Baby Dirk Digler” or “Da Black Ron Jeremy!” Nawwwww…just kidding…..back to the real story….. a week after graduation I started dating another ’96 HHS alumni Jessika (Harpell) and that lasted for a while (…7 years) and den………we’ll get to that part later. I graduated from The University of Memphis (Major: Electrical Engineering) in Dec.2001 and Jessika graduated from The University of Memphis (Major: Early Childhood Education) in May 2002. She went back to school this past year and got her Masters in Education (Thank You $$$). After we both graduated, I finally broke down after 8 years of dating and we got married. I know…I made her wait longgggg enough. We have been married three years (June 7, 2003). I am currently working for T-Mobile as a Radio Frequency Engineer and Jessika was working for the past four years in Tipton County (Brighton Elem. and Austin Peay Elem.) as a Kindergarten teacher. But since the birth of our beautiful daughter, Kylee Alyssa Jordan, who is now 10 months old, she is now a stay at home mommy. Kylee is such a joy and she acts just like me (silly as a nut). We can’t wait to see everybody and catch up.

Ten years, really?? How times flies!!! Anyways, upon graduating from Houston, I went onto The University of Memphis and earned my BBA in Management Information Systems. I am currently working and living in Atlanta. I love every minute of it. I am still looking for the love of my life and have yet to find him. I do make it home to Memphis periodically to visit family and friends. As much as I really wanted, I will be unable to see all of you this reunion and hope to see you at the next reunion. Enjoy!! My best to all of you and may all of your dreams come true.

Julie Ripski Hooper

I am currently living in Fort Worth, Texas with my husband Juan Carlos (from Mexico City) and our two children, Jack (21 months) and Ana Marie (4 months). We moved to Texas from Memphis in 2001 to be a little closer to my husband’s family. I never thought I would be saying this, but I miss Tennessee so much!! I got a Masters in Social Work from the University of Tennessee just before moving to Texas. I was a school social worker with the Fort Worth school district until I became “Mama” in October 2004.
I only went to Houston High School for my Junior and Senior years, but I have so many fond memories of those two years. I hope everyone has tons of fun this weekend.

J. Earl Simpson

Hello Houston Class of 96! Upon completion of high school, I really didn't know what to do with my life. I thought long and hard and weighed my options. My life long dream of opening my own bounty hunter company didn't exactly pan out, so I spent my time traveling the country selling fireworks. I had quite a prosperous business going when tragedy struck. Lightening hit my stand and everything I owned went up in flames, literally. Even my pop-up camper "Bessie"
that I called home.
I enjoy spending my weekends at Pickwick Lake when I am not working in my yard or doing volunteer work as a mentor for the Boys and Girls Club of Memphis. I look forward to seeing some of you at the reunion and I hope some of you losers are unable to make it into town!

After graduation I went to work for PF Changs in Germantown and was the general manager. I left there in 2001 to open the first and only gentlemans club/gay bar in Corinth MS. I have also been into professional wakeboarding and power boat racing.
See you all Friday night!

Nikki Kranz

well, ive spent the last 9.5 years since living in memphis in atlanta, and its been good, i graduated from kennesaw state university with a degree in english (focus on brit lit) and i'm doing absolutely nothing with it, except helping people at work with their grammar and spelling.
i have successfully dodged the marriage bullet a few times as i have found no one that i deem worth losing my freedom for.
i bought a house in my favorite part of town (little five points/candler park-kind of like midtown memphis but more fun) and i have two teacup chihuahuas that i adore. they weigh seven pounds altogether!
i am one of the managers of crate and barrel at lenox mall, the flagship store in atlanta. they send me all over the country to look at new products, and it's great because the products are ever changing, and it doesn't hurt that i love the things i promote. i love contemporary design and they work with my favorite design house, marimekko, exclusively, so i had to work there! basically i hate doing the same thing every day and enjoy the challenge of learning new products and remembering old ones at the same time, while running a giant store, its budget, customer service issues, and my employees, just to name a few issues i deal with every day. i've been with the company all through college and i got fast tracked into management when i graduated. at this point i can look at a wine glass and tell you if it's ours or not, just by the sheer shape of it. i have been harrassing corporate for years to get one in memphis so i can run it ;)
ive been vegan for over 8 years, and veg for a total of at least 12 years.
i hang out with my sister sam (hhs alumni, who bought the house next door to mine and is also fast tracking at crate since her graduation from memphis state last month), my best friend flo (hhs alumni aka "the french girl") who lives a few minutes away with her husband, and davis hawk (hhs 97) lives one minute from me with his fiancee. it's nice to have memphis folk around. but i come home a lot, though...no one like memphis folk!
well, that's about it, to be brief. i've had too many experiences to recall right now- tv shows i've been on, meeting/hanging out with almost all of the celebs/bands i've always wanted to meet (for example- morrissey, robert smith, super furry animals, david arquette, lukas haas, david cross, the dandy warhols, the verve, the charlatans, blur, supergrass, ash, radiohead, portishead, brendan benson, etc. ), traveling the usa and europe while living life to the fullest in the greatest cities on earth, etc., in the last ten years.

Casey Jones

I would really love to visit with all of you guys, but unfortunately I am doing a 10 year sentence at Fort Rucker Federal Prison in Alabama for a drug trafficking conviction. I hope you guys have a fun time, maybe I will catch you all at the 20 year get together.

After graduating from HHS I went on to the University of Tennessee, Knoxville where I received my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology. Upon graduation in May 2000 I moved to Cape Girardeau, Missouri where I was a Community Support Worker at Family Counseling Center and a Social Service Aide for the Division of Youth Services. In May of 2002, I began graduate school for my Masters of Science in Criminal Justice at Southeast Missouri State University. During graduate school I completed my internship at the Southeast Correctional Center, an all male, maximum security prison. In February 2004 I accepted my current position as Probation and Parole Officer for the State of Missouri, based in Sikeston where I work with felons. I am not married but I have 11 nieces and nephews and one on the way. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend.

Sonia Lekhy Goyal

Hey Everyone!! After high school I attended UTK and graduated with a degree in Human Resource Management. While in school I met my husband Pete, and we got married the summer after I graduated. We initially were going to live in Memphis, but my husband was relocated to Atlanta, so we moved there in August of 2000. While in Atlanta I worked for for Ernst & Young LLP and Pricewaterhouse Coopers in Human Resources/Recruiting. Last May we were blessed with the birth of our son Dillan, and I have been enjoying being a stay-at-home mom ever since. We recently moved back to Memphis (April 2006) to be closer to family and just bought a house in Cordova. Unfortunately I will be not be able to make it the reunion due to a previous planned trip, but it has been great reading all of your updates and catching up.

Daniel Spiotta

What up class of '96? I'm so excited to see everyone this weekend. I just flew in from NYC and decided to check out this site. Let's see, what's been going on with Dan? After graduating HHS, I was a vocal performance major at The Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY where I was studying opera. After graduating there, I was asked to be one of two soloist to sing with the world renound Eastman Wind Ensemble, fully sponsored by Sony. We toured all over Japan and Taiwan, performing in all of their amazing opera houses, and then went into the studio and recorded all of the pieces. I then did two National Tours back to back. Jekyll and Hyde and Titanic. Then I moved to mid-town Manhatten (Hell's Kitchen) and started hitting the auditions. I've been pretty successful, and have worked at major theaters all over the country. Most recently I've done shows such as The Full Monty, Camelot, and Carousel. I also just heard last week that I've been cast in a new Off BWay show, which is a really big deal, so I'm totally stoked about that. TV wise, I've had spots of Ab Fab and Curb Your Enthusiasm and have been acting in some student films. I recently recorded tv jingles for Patron Tequilla and KFC, and can be heard singing on the new Little Mermaid III movie coming out this summer. When not singing/acting, I'm slinging cocktails at two different bars in the city. I'm very happy with my life up North, but definately miss the South. I'm home now for the week, and I'm totally looking forward to seeing you all and catching up. I grew up with most of you, so this will be fun. Dan's a new man!!!

Wassup mustangs- it's Mr. Mustang checking in (aka the cop from the village people)! Has it already been 10 long years? After high school I went to the University of Memphis (Go Tigers!) and played soccer for 4 years until I was drafted and lived out my dream of playing professional soccer. I came home and met my wife- Nicole and have been married now for 4 wonderful years :). I have been working at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage for almost 5 years now, and just relocated to Tampa, FL. We now have 3 beautiful dogs (all boxers- Allie, Riley and Jackson) and reside in Tampa, Florida ( Go Bucs!). Ryan Wilder is currently our house guest for the summer and is helping us out not being so home sick (Go Wilder - or is it Dupree?) j/k Anyway, I can't wait to see everyone this weekend and catch up with old friends!

Jaime Braun

Hello Everyone! I have really enjoyed reading about what everyone has been doing! Time sure does fly by. I really wish that I could make it to the reunion but it turns out to be a really bad travel time for me. A lot has happened in ten years, but I have managed to stay in touch and close with many friends from HHS, and to David Nugent, I did see you on Oprah! Interesting show ;) I also enjoy seeing Chip (Silas) Gaither on commercials every now and again. For me, I graduated from UTK in 2000 with a BA in Spanish, and then spent a lot of time traveling. I spent a couple of months in Costa Rica, lived a while in Portsmouth, New Hampshire to check out the New England area, and then on to Athens, Georgia where I lived with Heidi Rine and her now husband Billy before moving on to Chicago, IL where I currently live. I went to grad school at University of Illinois Chicago where I received my Masters of Education. While in school my parents moved abroad to Budapest, Hungary where they lived for three years. As you can imagine this worked out well for me because I was able to spend about two months traveling Europe. I am now teaching Spanish to kindergarten through the eighth grade (yes, all of them, yikes!) at a school in Chicago, called Sayre Language Academy. I really enjoy the challenge. I am not married (the boys in the pictures are my wonderful brothers, both HHS graduates), but I have a wonderful relationship with my boyfriend JT. Who knows what the future holds! My best to everyone, have a great time at the reunion! Salud!

Colleen Dorn

After graduating from HHS, I attended the University of Alabama where I received a BA in Communications. I decided to spend my final semester participating in a National Student Exchange program where I attended the University of Washington in Seattle. I accepted a position with Hyatt Hotels soon after I graduated. I have been working at the Grand Hyatt Seattle in Human Resources and most recently as a Catering Manager for 5 years now and haven't left Seattle. I love my job (as do all my family and friends for the discounts) and love living the big city life in Seattle. I've been dating my boyfriend, Tom for 2 1/2 years now and we live in downtown Seattle. I only make it back to Memphis once or twice a year. I'm excited to see everyone at the reunion and catch up on old times!

Ellen "Koch" Conoyer

After graduation from HHS, I attended UT Knoxville where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. After college graduation, I moved to Nashville and started working at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital as a pediatric nurse. I loved my job and while working there, I met my wonderful husband, Matt. We were married in November of 2003 and continue to live in Nashville where Matt is completing a residency in ENT at Vanderbilt University. We have been blessed with an 11 month old son, Michael, who is the light of our lives. I am a full time Mommy now and love every minute of it! We visit family in Memphis often, but will miss the reunion due to my husband's demanding residency schedule. Hope everyone is doing well!!!

Hank Tansey

After graduation, I attended UT Knoxville for three years and a summer then came home to the U of Memphis to finish up. Veronica Ingram (class of 1995) and I started dating the weekend she graduated from UTK and have been married for five years next month. I am a Municipal Bond Trader/Underwriter for Morgan Keegan in downtown Memphis. For those non-finance people, we loan cities and other municipalities money then sell the loans to our customers. I love my job and couldn't imagine doing anything else except sitting on the beach fishing. Veronica works at Fleming Associates Architects in East Memphis designing churches, schools and financial centers/banks. We have lived in Germantown for the last three years but are looking to move closer to my work downtown. So if anyone is looking for a great house in Gtown give me a call. We have no kids but do have two golden retrievers that are treated as childen.

Jay Henderson

After graduation, I went to the University of Memphis where I received both a BA and MBA in Marketing. During school, I landed an internship at a diesel engine company, Cummins, Inc. Since graduation in 2002, I have had several jobs within Cummins, but I am currently working as an Account Manager for the Off-Highway Market. It has been a great experience;
traveling the world and working with customers. During the summer of 2003, I met my future wife, Brooke Hall (Houston grad of ’97) at Pickwick Lake (showing off my Sea-Doo skills). Almost a year later, we were married. Today, Brooke works in downtown Memphis as a Social Worker and we are expecting our first child (a girl named Kenley) in September. We are looking forward to the reunion and can’t wait to see everyone there.

Amber Easley Davis

Hello to all! After graduating HHS, I attended the University of Memphis and graduated with a bachelors in Elementary Education. I married my husband, Derek, shortly after graduation and moved to Fayetteville, Arkansas to be closer to family. I now teach 5th grade at a small school in Elkins, Arkansas. I really enjoy teaching this age group. We have a little girl name Hannah, (over 11 pounds at birth!!!) who just turned 2. She is so much fun, but really keeps me going! Hope that everyone is doing well and life is treating you good!

Shannon Lucius Bragg

Hello old friends! Here’s a little update about me. After Graduation, I went to the University of TN at Martin and received my Bachelors of Science in Psychology. I later received a Masters in Christian Counseling. I have worked as a Therapist, yet I have been doing motivational speaking to teenagers in schools and churches since I entered college. In 2002, Nimco, Inc. published an abstinence curriculum I wrote and produced a video of me speaking. I am currently writing my second book for teenage girls which focuses on abstinence, character, and self esteem. I have established my own ministry entitled Princesses In Training, where I conduct workshops locally and nationally that teach young girls how to think, act and date like a daughter of the King. In June of 2000, I married my husband Paul Bragg. We currently live in Newnan, GA (suburb of Atlanta) where my husband works as a Youth Minister. We have a 4 year old daughter named Kara and a 9 month old son named Cameron. I am so excited about seeing you all this coming up weekend.

Ross Clements

After graduation from Houston, I attended UT-Knoxville to study architecture. During college I spent several summers in New Mexico. While at UTK I met my future wife, Jessica, who majored in horticulture and landscape design. After graduation from UT, I moved to Nashville and interned for three years at Larry Woods & Associates. Jessica and I moved to Greenville, SC in May 2004 so I could work for Batson Architects, specializing in healthcare design. We were married in June 2004 on Daufuskie Island, near Hilton Head, SC. While at Batson Architects I began studying for and taking the nine required exams of the Architect Registration Examination. In April 2006 I learned that I passed the ARE and am now a Registered Architect. In May 2006 I started a new position with Construction Science and Engineering, specializing in forensic investigations and expert witness work relating to deficient construction. Jessica and I are enjoying our newly renovated home, our friends and the Greenville area. Enjoy the reunion and GO VOLS!"

David Nugent

Hey everybody! Well ten years doesn't seem that long that's for sure. After high school I graduated from Purdue University where I played four years for the Boilermaker football team. I can proudly say I got my degree in Exercise Physiology as well. From there I
got drafted by the New England Patriots in 2000 and played there for 2 1/2 years before being picked up by the Baltimore Ravens for a year and then finally with the Oakland Raiders to round out a very blessed 4 year career in the NFL. I was fortunate to play for the Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots in 2002 and made a lot of great memories along the way. After that phase of my life concluded in 2004 I went on a national tv talk show tour...just kidding, but I was a guest on the Oprah Winfrey show(I can tell you all about it if you really want to know)and that was a thrill for my family and I! Now I have settled into the real world and found a new competitive high in surgical device sales. The OR is an intense place and I love it! Anyway, no kids, no wife but definately looking for my southern princess :)REALLY looking forward to seeing everyone!!!

Lyles Freeze

Bonjour les collègues Mustangs!!
I have been busy since Houston. After I received my degree I traveled to Europe where I fell in love with the art of making Chocolate. I decided to stay in France for a summer to learn from one of the greatest masters of this sweet confection. The funny thing about time is that it passes quickly and I have been in France ever since. I own a small chocolatier an hour (by train) south Paris in Orleans, France. Due to time constraints I regret being unable to attend the reunion. However, Je vous tous souhaite le meilleur de chance. (I wish all of you the best of luck!)

Well this Marian "Donika" Griffin-Thomas. For the last 10 years I have been real busy doing...well a lot of things. After graduation I went to Lemoyne-Owen College for 2 years, then transfered to Memphis. I had my first child Feb. 1999 (son) and got married in Oct. 1999 to my high school sweet heart Myron (CHS '96). After working and going to school forever, we expanded our family again Dec. 2002 (daughter). I graduated from Memphis in Aug. 2005. I thought about teaching, but something else or someone else was in the plan. This past Monday July 3rd we had baby number 3 (daughter). So as much as I would love to, I will not be able to attend the reunion. Life has been good and I could not be happier with it. Hope everyone reached their goals or are still proceeding to conquer dreams. Hats off to the HHS Class of 1996!!!

Wow... how time marches on! I left Germantown in 1996 for the University of Alabama at Birmingham to play soccer. After a year, I then transferred to Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA and conituned to play soccer and graduated with a BS in Physical Education with a minor in Business Managment. Did a little substitue teaching, life guard, and coached soccer in the Virginia Beach area. In 2001, moved to Atlanta to become the Assistant Soccer Coach at Georgia State University and get my Master's in Sport Adminstration. Really loved Atlanta but had to move on as needed a new challenge in my professional life. I am now in Rock Hill, SC at Winthrop University as the Assistant Men's Soccer Coach. I must say that I cannot complain about life... it is very good. I guess a real suprise that I am still involved in the game I love so much. I get to travel the world, meet some unbelivable people, and absolutely love what I do. I am in a great realtionship with my girlfriend, Emily. Hey everyone! I went to Mississippi State and received a BBA in marketing. I returned home to
Memphis and completed my MBA at Union University. I have been at Medtronic Sofamor Danek for almost six years as a senior product manager. I got married in 2004 to my beautiful wife Rachel and we had our first son, Ty, last September. We lived in Cordova for a couple of years and recently joined the escape from Memphis and now reside in Southaven. Looking forwardto seeing everyone.

Hey everyone!
After graduating from UT with a BA in International Studies, I headed to Honduras as a Peace Corps Volunteer (where Bryce Ashby and Annie Sparkman also were PCVs - small world). Once I got back, I moved to North Carolina, worked a bit, married my husband Bill (who I met at UT), and got my Masters with a local government concentration at UNC Chapel Hill. Bill and I moved
to Dallas last summer(TX is so hot, it puts the Memphis heat to shame) and I work for the City of Dallas, TX . Looking forward to seeing everyone and coming back home!

Anthony Rice and Kelly Tyson Rice

Anthony and I will be married for 10 years on January 15, 2007! Can you believe it?

We have a beautiful daughter who will be 9 in August. She's going to be in the fourth grade. We live in Collierville and Samantha goes to Collierville Elementary School. It's a little weird cheering for the Collierville Dragons now! Anthony (he pretty much goes by Tony these days) has worked at Federal Express for about 9 years. I work for Cook Systems International (an IT recruiting/application development company) as the executive assistant. I've been there for 2 1/2 years. I'm also an Independent Beauty Consultant with Mary Kay Cosmetics. My team and I just earned the use of the Mary Kay car!! Pretty exciting! We also attend Central Church in Collierville. We have a toy poodle named Molly and a golden retriever named Reynock. That's our update!

We truly look forward to seeing everyone!

I don't think you're ready for this jelly.

Jessica Harper Tupper

After graduation from Houston, I went to Mississippi State and majored in international business. State was a lot of fun, and I had a hard decision about where to go from there. With a major in international business, I could have ended up anywhere. Instead, I chose to come back home. My first job helped me realize quickly that I didn't want to be a part of corporate America. From there, I began teaching. I've always loved kids, and there was a big need for Spanish teachers. Since I studied Spanish in college, I thought I'd give it a try. Now, I'm teaching Spanish and International Business at Houston. How crazy is that? Mr. Aitken is the best boss in the world! Yes, things have changed a little at Houston, but we still have a lot to be proud of when it comes to our school. I am enjoying my summers off and working on my masters in education.

After Houston I attended the University of Memphis while traveling the world, courtesy of the U.S. Marines, and graduated in 2001 with a BBA in Marketing Management. I met my wonderful wife Amy Spoerlein, a ’94 Houston High graduate, in 1999 and we were married in September 2002. We now have a precious little girl named Skylar Anne who was born in February 2005 as well as our old and traveled dog Bailey. After college I promptly moved to Atlanta where Amy & I both worked for Kraft Foods in sales for about a year. We then relocated to central Illinois for a couple of years and traveled the country together. In spring 2004 I accepted a sales management position with Georgia-Pacific based in Memphis so we both have come full circle and now live in Germantown. Given our distance from Memphis for so many years, we’ve lost touch with most of our friends from high school. I look forward to catching up with everyone in July.

After Houston, I graduated from UT Knoxville with a business degree in Marketing. I met my husband my final year of college. After graduation, we moved out to Charlotte, NC together and were married in August of 2003. I landed a wonderful opportunity as a Product Development Manager for a stationery company headquartered in Charlotte. I actually got to utilize my Marketing degree while also having the opportunity to travel within the US and Europe for work. I resigned when my beautiful daughter, Taylor, was born in October of 2004 and I am now fortunate enough to be staying home with her. My husband recently accepted a new opportunity within his company, and we are now having a great time living in Nashville. Now that we live so much closer, we actually visit Germantown quite often. So I am looking forward to making another trip in and seeing everyone at the reunion!

We are currently living in Cordova, but hope to move closer to Germantown in the near future. Can't wait to catch up with everyone!

After departing dear old Houston High, I attended UTK like many others. I received my BS degree in Dietetics/Nutrition in 2000. Moved to Tallahassee, where I received my MS in Clinical and Sports Nutrition and completed my dietetic internship at FSU in 2002. Also became certified as a Health/Fitness Instructor through ACSM. Packed up and headed west for a stint in Calabasas, California. Worked with Northeast Valley Health Corporation as a supervisor in a WIC clinic in Reseda, CA. Learned some Spanish and became a Certified Lactation Educator. Moved on to McKinney, Texas and worked as a Nutrition Education Coordinator for a WIC clinic in Sherman, TX. Only lived in TX for a couple of months, and headed back to Memphis. Worked as a Nutritionist in a WIC clinic for the Health Department (yes, same job as Sarah Bosserman Yates-different clinic) for about a year and a half. During this time I ran 3 half marathons and 2 full marathons, including New York last November. Recently moved to Austin, TX, and working
as an Assistant Director for Outreach Health Services' WIC program. I now manage 5 clinics in the central Texas area, and enjoying the traveling associated with the job. Looking forward to running in the Livestrong Challenge 10K in October (recovering from hip injury post-NY). NO hubby, NO kids, and no plans to change either of these. Loving life as is for now!See you in July.

I graduated from University of Memphis with a Business degree in Marketing Management and moved to West Palm Beach, Florida right after college. I'm currently a Marketing Director for a news and financial publishing company and I've enjoyed the opportunity to travel the country on occasion for work. I met my wonderful husband Kris about four years ago and we were married on the beach in November. Hurricane Wilma arrived on our original wedding date so we had to postpone the event two weeks--that's FL for you! We love living by the ocean and going scuba diving when we can. I ran my first 26-mile marathon over a year ago. Great experience! I've since run four half marathons and plan to train for another full this summer. I also do volunteer work with the Jr. League of the Palm Beaches. Looking forward to seeing everyone this summer!

Sara Bosserman Yates

We live in East Memphis with our pride and joy-our dog, Fudgie. Can't wait to see yall in July!

I went to The University of Tennessee, Knoxville following high school. I graduated in May of 2000 with my Bachelors of Science in Social Work. Following undergrad, I went to the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, where I obtained my Masters of Social Work with a concentration in Program and Agency Administration. During my graduate studies I moved to Washington, DC where I was the Pedro Zamora Fellow at AIDS Action, a national advocacy organization for AIDS service organizations. Upon graduation in 2002, I moved to Atlanta, Georgia where I accepted a position with Emory University School of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases. I was a Medical Social Worker in the outpatient clinic, providing services to people living with HIV and AIDS. In February of 2005, I accepted a position with AbsoluteCare, Inc., also located in Atlanta, as the Director of Social Services. I continue to help people living with HIV and AIDS in an outpatient medical setting. I absolutely love my job and Atlanta! Atlanta is a fabulous city where I have continued friendships with friends from Germantown, college and many others. I am looking forward to seeing everyone in July and I hope everyone is well.
